Modern Canadian safety training. Short, practical, built for real workplaces.
Awareness courses of twenty to ninety minutes, built around Canadian construction, energy and industrial sites, with real scenarios and decisions rather than a slide deck read aloud. The first fifteen are in production now.
One library, however you train
For workers
Buy a course, take it on your phone or a computer, and keep the certificate. Your place is saved as you go.
For employers
Buy the seats you need and get one course code per person. Hand each worker a code and they take the course at no cost to them.
For TruStar Connect customers
25% off every course, and completions land on each worker’s training profile and the training matrix automatically, expiry date included.

Academy courses are awareness and theory training, and are named that way. Programs that need a practical evaluation or an approved provider, such as H2S Alive, Ontario Working at Heights, first aid, or forklift and aerial lift operator certification, still need that step.
The training engine for your safety program
A worker is hired, gets their orientation and required courses, finishes them, and the certificates land on their profile. The matrix updates, supervisors are reminded before anything expires, and an auditor can see the whole history in one place.
- 25% off every Academy course for Connect subscribers
- Finished courses fill the training matrix by themselves
- Require courses by position or project, or assign them with a due date
- Host your own training too: Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline, SCORM, xAPI and cmi5, video and PDF
Join the launch list
One email when the first courses open. Tell us how many people you train and we will reach out about pricing for your crew.
When do the first courses launch?
The first fifteen are in production now. Join the launch list and we will email you once, when they are ready to take.
How do I buy a course for my employees?
Buy the number of seats you need and you receive one course code per person. Hand each worker a code; they enter it and take the course without paying anything themselves.
Is there a discount for TruStar Connect customers?
Yes. TruStar Connect subscribers save 25% on every Academy course, and finished courses are recorded on each worker’s training profile and the training matrix automatically, with the expiry date set. Owners, administrators and managers can buy codes for their crews.
Can we host our own training too?
In TruStar Connect, yes. Owners and administrators can upload courses built in Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline, or any SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI or cmi5 package, as well as videos and PDFs, then require them by position or project and assign them to people.
Do these courses replace hands-on certification?
No. Academy courses are awareness and theory training. Programs that need a practical component or an approved provider, such as H2S Alive, Ontario Working at Heights, first aid, or operator certification for forklifts and aerial lifts, still need that. Our courses are named for what they are.
Where are the courses hosted?
In TruStar Connect, on Canadian infrastructure. Your records stay with your other safety records.
